The P Family | A Fall Family Session
I met with the P family one beautiful fall day at a local apple orchard. Mom wanted some updated images of the three children, so we spent some time playing between the rows of trees. The light was SO gorgeous and I was thrilled with how the images turned out. I hope mom was, too!!
The G Family | A Fall Family Session
I have known this awesome family for about 18 years. When I say that “out loud” it seems hard to believe! I remember when they got married, announced that they were going to be parents, shared the news of baby #2….all of it! It seems unreal that their “littles” are now so grown up! Time sure flies when you’re having fun!!
Davenport Fruit Farm Cidery and Winery
Several years ago, I made my very first stop at Davenport Farms to buy a gallon of their unpasteurized cider. It was a cute place, with original barn and acres of gorgeous apple trees. After that first taste of their cider, I was hooked. I returned year after year for apples and cider. When I first heard that the orchard had been sold, I was concerned. My fear was that someone would get rid of the barn and make it too “new”. I drove past the property fairly regularly, always glancing at the progress they were making. I can now say, with certainty, that the new owners did an AMAZING job of keeping a barn feel, while modernizing enough to make it a charming, functional space!
Not only is it aesthetically pleasing, but the hard ciders they have crafted are a treat for the taste buds! Being that my husband and I are huge hard cider fans, we were a bit skeptical as to whether or not it would live up to our expectations. Well, we are not connoisseurs, however, we both agreed they nailed it. With several varieties to choose from, there is something for every cider lover. Sweet, dry, seasonal…so many decisions!
Now, if hard cider isn’t your thing, don’t worry, they’ve got you covered! In addition to having a variety of beers on tap from TimberCreek Brewing, Davenport also carries a selection of wine, which is made right on the premises.
To take advantage of Pennsylvania’s beautiful summers and falls, several outdoor seating areas have been added, with breathtaking views of the orchard.
If fresh apples and unpasteurized cider is what you’re really after, the fruit farm is STILL the right choice! They offer a mouth-watering selection each fall. Many weekends, you can even find live music in the tap room. If you’ve never experienced Davenport’s, please do yourself a favor and check it out!
Mr. + Mrs. L . | A Fall Couples Session
Not all sessions have to be the whole family. These two chose to do a couples session last fall! They did have the kids jump in a few shots, but the majority was just the Mr. and the Mrs! We managed to squeak it in right before a storm hit, too! What a day!
The M Boys
I had a nice fall session scheduled with this mom and two boys. Normally, in October, we deal with some cool temps, maybe even some rain. Well, not this day. On this particular day, it was HOT. Mom had chosen some really cute outfits, complete with button-ups, sweaters, and cords…not knowing it would be a whopping 90 degrees. OOPS! We did grab some shots of the boys in their dressier outfits, but we ALSO let them cool off in their pretty sweet t-shirts, too. Win-win! Of course, I made mom get in a few frames, too. Moms…you will NEVER regret having pics with your kids!!!

It's that time of year...FALL MINI SESSIONS! I am offering limited fall mini sessions, and they are booking QUICK! Spots are first come, first serve. If you are interested, please message me.
