Senior Guy Sessions | Capturing Your Passions

I know a lot of senior boys look at Senior Pictures as one more annoying thing they are obligated to do. What if I told you it doesn’t HAVE to be that way?

I’m here to let you know that they can not only be something you don’t hate, but you might actually ENJOY. My senior guys have fun!

Senior Sessions are a great way to showcase what is important to you. Many guys bring along something that represents whatever sport or activity they are involved in. I have found that most people can relax more easily when they have something comfortable or familiar with them. We are then able to get genuine smiles and authentic, relaxed poses.

Come with me as we take a look at a few sessions where guys were able to bring along their passions and have some fun, too!

JT has played around with working on and building vehicles, and he’s really good at it! He rebuilt this incredible Scout, as well as his four wheeler, and wanted to bring them along to his session. Umm..YES PLEASE! I was so excited to help him show off his hard work in such a cool way. Being with these two items that had such significant meaning to him helped him to feel much more comfortable in front of them camera. Bonus — he will have these photos as keepsakes forever.

Graham is a fantastic hockey and soccer player. I have enjoyed watching him play and excel for the last few years, so when he wanted to incorporate his hockey stick and soccer ball in some of his pictures, I was all for it! Of course we made sure to grab plenty of images without, so we had a good variety for him to choose from. I just love the urban B&W images, too!

Last, but not least, we have Eddie! Eddie is a talented musician whose only request was he be able to have his guitar in nearly every image. DONE!! I was more than happy to give this phenomenal young man a session that really showed his passion for his music. In addition to being a gifted guitarist, he is also a song writer. I can’t wait to see what he does next. He was clearly at ease with instrument in hand, and now he has images that appropriately capture his love for it.
